- 1. The Konark Wheel in the NSS badge has 8 bars signifying the 24 hours of the day, reminding the wearer to be ready for the service of the nation at all times.
- 2. Red color in the badge signifies energy and spirit displayed by the NSS volunteers.
- 3. Blue color represents the cosmos, symbolizing that NSS is a tiny part ready to contribute to mankind's welfare.
🎯 OBJECTIVES OF NSS
- 1. To gain an understanding of the community where the volunteers serve.
- 2. To comprehend oneself in relation to the neighborhood one lives in.
